How we arrive at a figure
Our rating is a weighted composite of four measured inputs. Here is the weighting, the source of each input, and what we deliberately exclude.
The four inputs
| Input | Weight | Source | Revised |
|---|---|---|---|
| Payout speed | 40% | Median of verified member redemption reports, trailing 90 days | Monthly |
| Package value | 25% | Redeemable portion of the welcome package, measured against the redemption floor | On operator change |
| Terms | 20% | Playthrough multiple, floor, expiry, state exclusions, read from current terms | On operator change |
| Support | 15% | First-response time to a redemption query, tested quarterly from a member account | Quarterly |
Three things deliberately left out
Commission. We are paid by some operators in this ledger. Compensation is not an input to the rating and does not affect ordering. Our disclosure sits in the footer of every page, not buried on a single page nobody reads.
Game count. Every operator claims hundreds of titles and the counts are not comparable. A number that cannot be verified is not a measurement.
Design. We have opinions about these interfaces. They do not belong in a payout ledger.
When we get it wrong
If a recorded figure is wrong, write to us and say which field and what it should be. Operator corrections are held to the same evidence standard as member reports: we want the term, in writing, from the current terms and conditions.
Corrections are applied to the ledger directly. We do not footnote the change, because the ledger is a record of what is true now.
